About Us
CEMAY International is an engineering company that develops, installs and commissions fabric and carpet-back coating & lamination lines for technical textiles. We build the coating machine at the heart of the line ourselves; we supply the other units — unwinder, padder, drying, calender — and configure the whole line around your product and your capacity.
Our story
CEMAY International was founded by Attila Kara, a mechanical engineer with over thirty years in the textile industry. The company has been working on coating and lamination lines for more than eight years.
Our focus today is a need the market has struggled to answer: anti-slip coating and lamination for carpet backing. Demand from carpet producers led us both to develop our own coating machine and to build the complete line from one hand. We bring the same engineering approach to the other applications that need coating and lamination — tarpaulin and technical textiles, blackout curtains, synthetic leather, denim.
Manufacturer and engineer
A coating line is not a machine picked from a catalogue. The product to be coated, the target coat weight, the coating method, the drying type and the site conditions all shape the composition of the line from the start. So we configure every line from scratch: which units come together, in what order, at what size and under what control scheme is decided by looking at your product.
Because we build the coating machine ourselves, the most critical part of the line is our own responsibility: when a change is needed we look at our own workshop rather than a supplier's calendar, and spare parts and service support come directly from us.
We would rather you made the investment decision on evidence: with a sample coating run on our own line, you can see how the coating you have chosen behaves on your own fabric or carpet before you buy.

Consultation
We assess your product, your target capacity and your site conditions together, and clarify what the need actually is.
Engineering
The coating method, the drying type and the unit configuration are set to your product, and the line design comes out of it.
Manufacture
The coating machine is built, the other units of the line are supplied and the composition is completed.
Installation & Commissioning
The line is assembled on site, calibrated and brought into production by CEMAY engineering.
Training
Your operators and maintenance team are trained on running the line, its settings and its daily maintenance.
After-Sales
Spare parts, service and improvement support keep your line in production, and a retrofit brings it up to date when needed.
