Carpet Backing Table-Type Roller Coating Line

The table-type roller carpet backing coating line is designed for woven and tufted carpet at 4000 mm usable working width. The coating unit runs on a table-type single main cylinder principle, which gives controlled penetration, an even coating application and stable running at high production speeds.

The latex-coated carpet back then passes through an IR pre-drying unit before embossing: free moisture is removed and the latex is brought to a gel consistency, so the emboss cylinders transfer a clean, deep pattern without latex run or pattern deformation. Heat transfer is contact-free and the output power is set to line speed and coat weight.

The line is configured for your product from unwinding, accumulator, coating, IR pre-drying, lamination, embossing, RAM (stenter) drying, cooling and winding sections. Installation and commissioning are carried out by CEMAY engineering.
