Drying System (RAM / Stenter)

The drying system forms the drying section of coating and lamination lines, and can be quoted independently — with a new line or as an addition to your existing one.

Typical configurations we quote:

• Electric drying: 6 chambers, 80–150 kW heating power per chamber, ±1 °C temperature tolerance under PID control
• Gas drying: 4-room arrangement
• Transport: roller or mesh belt
• IR pre-drying: can be added at the infeed to raise line speed

Carpet Drying RAM (Stenter)

Used after carpet backing and/or lamination, the RAM (stenter) configuration is built gas-fired for tufted carpet at up to 4000 mm working width: 6 chambers, 3 m per chamber, 18 m total effective drying length and top-blown directed hot-air circulation. The drying concept is developed around the thermal sensitivity of carpet — specifically to keep the pile surface from being damaged by high temperature.

The infeed carries an operator platform, two motor-driven spiral spreader rollers on independent drives, right/left independently servo-driven cross-take rollers (AISI 304 stainless) and a touch-screen control panel.

Chamber count, heating type and transport are sized for your product and capacity; installation and commissioning are carried out by CEMAY engineering.
