The carpet backing knife coating line is an end-to-end solution for latex and SBR backing applications on woven and tufted carpet: unwinding, the knife coating head, drying, calendering and winding sections are configured for your product and capacity.

Typical configurations we quote:

  • 2200 mm (KG2200): knife-on-cylinder coating + 6-chamber drying
  • 3400 mm (KG3400): knife-on-air coating + 2 pile-protecting drying chambers

Drying can be built electric, gas or IR heated; accumulator/J-Box and automation options (including SAP/ERP integration) are added according to your process needs. Installation and commissioning are carried out by CEMAY engineering.
