The accumulator (J-Box) unit buffers fabric through roll changes and line-speed differences so the line runs without stopping. It lets the infeed/outfeed units accelerate and decelerate independently while the coating/drying section runs at constant speed.

Buffer capacity is configured between 14 m (carpet backing) and 40 m (lacquering) by application; precise control is provided by an AC motor, reducer and VFD. Independently quotable.
