Smoothing/finishing calender unit at 40-tonne pressure, water-cooled, with Ø500/Ø400/Ø320 rolls.

The calender unit applies pressure and heat to coated fabric to smooth the surface, calibrate thickness and — if wanted — impart an embossed pattern. A horizontal build works with a Ø500 mm back roll (80-Shore rubber), a ~Ø400 mm smoothing roll (chrome), a Ø320 mm take-off roll (chrome) and a water-cooled output cylinder.

Total pressure is 40 tonnes; water cooling preserves surface quality. Independently quotable; installed with a new line or added to your existing one.
